Nicco Park Kolkata-

Nicoo park is an amusement park located in Salt Lake Kolkata West Bengal.
Its opening hours is 10am to 6pm. I went there with my group of four friends. There are total 35 rides in it.  Its a family friendly park which also attracts tourist from all over the places.
The view really stunning and pleasing  to watch.

TICKETS-

My visiting date was on 3rd April 2021. It was a summer offer and it charged us 850 rupees - per 2 person     (ie. couple) with all rides free and also a free entry in WET-O-WILD(waterpark).
And also have access to all its rides .
For more details ....

FOOD-

You will find food corners everywhere. Food is little expensive than normal. The multi-cuisine food court is also available and food quality is OK.  A normal 20 rupees water bottle cost  us 50. Its better to carry your own bottles. Food from outside is not allowed.

WET-O-WILD-

It was the most enjoyable part of the visit. Its entry, locker charges and rides were all included in our package .
Its a big artificially created pool with a giant waterfall at the center and thrilling rides like CRUSADER RIDE, BODY SLIDE, TUBE SLIDE etc. all over the place. The changing  rooms and locker( to keep our baggage ) were good and comfortable. In case you forgot to bring your  swimming clothes, you can easily rent it or even purchase it if you wish to.

REVIEWS-

It was a fun and exciting visit. Don't be in a rush and  plan your whole day when you visit there Take your time and enjoy with your loved ones. Try to go on every ride and properly utilize your purchase . Its a bit tiring.

  •  WHY IS FAMILY CONSIDERED THE MOST IMPORTANT AGENT OF SOCIALIZATION -

ans.-   Family is a group of one or more parents and their children living together as a unit. Four main agents of socialization are -

  • Family

  • Peers

  • School

  • Mass media

Agent of socialization shape an individuals self-concept, values and behaviour and transmit those beliefs and traditions.

Socialization makes it possible for us to fully function as human beings. Without socialization we could not have our society and culture.

Family is the first agent of socialization and considered to be the most important one. Family not only teach us how to care for ourselves but also teaches us our system of values, Norms and beliefs. All members of the family : mother, father, siblings, grandparents not only plays a significant role in one's life but also teaches a child what he or she needs to know. They help us to inculcate good values and habits.

Family is rightly called the cradle of social virtues. Mother, a member of the family gives birth to the child and introduce him/her to this beautiful world.

Infants are completely dependent on their parents. As they grow, family teach us to function and care for ourselves and society. Other members of the family teach us about relationships, group life, and to equally distribute the resources among members of the society.

Class, religion and region also plays an important role in socialization. For example - usually poor or middle class family educate and emphasize on being obedient and honest towards your work while wealthy families talk about education and career.

 FOUR NOBLE TRUTHS-

Four Noble truths , one of the fundamentals doctrine of Buddhism is said to have been set forth by BUDDHA, the founder of this religion, in his first sermom .

The Four Noble Truths of Buddha are:

  • The world is full of suffering.

  • The cause of suffering is desire.

  • If desires are get rid of, suffering can be removed.

  • This can be done by following the EIGHTFOLD Path.

The Eightfold Path consists of right view, right resolve, right speech, right conduct, right livelihood, right effort, right mindfulness and right concentration.

Buddha neither accepts god nor rejects the existence of god. He laid great emphasis on the law of karma. He argued that the condition of man in this life depends upon his own deed. He taught that the soul does not exit. However, he emphasized Ahimsa. By his love for human beings and living creatures , he endeared himself to all. Even under the gravest provocation he did not show the least anger or hatred and instead conquered everyone by his love and compassion.. His religion was identical with morality and it emphasised purity of thought, word and deed. He was a rationalist who tried to explain things in the light of reason and not on the basis of blind faith. Therefore, Buddhism was more a social than religious revolution . It taught the code of practical ethics and laid down the principle of social equality.

NIRVANA is the ultimate goal of Buddhism.

Buddha says, one who is willing to attain Nirvana, has to understand  Four Noble Truths. These   teachings are the key to attain Nirvana and the way to end suffering. It is a state of complete bliss, liberation from the limitations and desires of the physical world, and the end of the cycle of rebirth and suffering.

WHICH  IS  BETTER :
EVERNOTE OR ONENOTE

Both are best known for organizing and making making notes online.
I'll straight away go to the your query. While I was searching for ways to organize my upsc notes, I came across evernote hearing topper's suggestions which could be downloaded both in Mac/IOS.

But didn't knew about OneNote- a free application provided by Microsoft.
Evernote provides-free of 60MB of note storage per month which is though sufficient.
while on OneNote, there's no limit.
It is pre-installed in WINDOWS 10 so no trouble in installation process and no loading of viruses while downloading. Also if your laptop has lot application so in OneNote ,there's no storage problems.
So if  Windows is already providing u with OneNote application then go for it.
but in case you need more nutshell options then go for premium package provided by Evernote.
